Maya style leg and foot rig This is a very simple and effective way to rig a leg and foot. Bones are drawn from the bottom up. The little nub bone is the HIP. The IK is drawn upwards, from SHIN to HIP, opposite the usual direction seen in Max. The IK GOAL is linked to a DUMMY, or COM. To animate: MOVE dummy MOVE long foot bone at bottom ROTATE foot bend bone ROTATE foot toe bone
