Cartoony Dog Head Rig

Here is a meshsmoothed poly model we are adding a rig to.

The bones control the head, jaws, and the nose.

The nose can sniff and wriggle ...

The mouth opens:

 

There is a morph target to change expression and raise the eyebrows;

The lattice on the eyes is an FFD Binding ... the lattice is animated to change the shape of the eyes without losing the ability to rotate the eyes.

The eye is created as a poly;

the FFD Box created and positioned around the sphere;

use “bind to space warp” by dragging from the sphere to the space warp;

then, animate the control points of the FFD box.

   

One eye is a clone instance of the other.
