Oil Tank PArray and PBomb

Our animation requires 200 frames.

PArray

Starts the action on frame 60 ... this sets up no speed, so the particles simply appear at frame 60 ...

Fragment chunks settings are a matter of taste ...

The fragments wiggle but do not leave the oil tank surface ... this is due to this setting ... we will animate spin time later.

PBomb

The pbomb lets us control how the particles emanate ... parray alone will send them out in an undesirable manner.

 vs

Stick the PBomb in the middle of the oil tank. Bind to PArray.

Gravity

Can be placed anywhere, but make it point DOWN. Bind to PArray.

Deflector

Bind to PArray

Particles drop down to earth ... but they “wriggle” there ...

Turn on auto Key

Oil tank visibility

Frame 60 set visibility OFF

Frame 59 set visibility ON

PArray spin time

Frame 101, set to spin 101

Frame 125, set spin to 1,000

Frame 165, set spin to 10,000

This effectively makes the fragments slow down their spin and come to rest on the ground.
