Our approach is to establish
the basic structure of the entire character quickly. Quickly
means in this case, make only extrusions, bevels, and vertex
or poly moves and scales, but NO rotations.
Also, all edges are at positions
from the previous extrusion exercise.
Next, some adjustment of vertex
positions:
Feet rotate out
That’s it! Don’t
do anything more. Save as +.
Apply Meshsmooth. Isoline OFF.
For this character apply a crease
at his flat top.

Save as + and collapse the stack.
From now on we will try and
make no more cuts.
Mirror instance.
Take advantage of new edges
by scaling vertices and add mass where needed like the mid thigh.
Now is the time for only adjusting
vertices.
