Outdoors mrArea sun

Here is another outdoor setup. It uses a mrAreaSpot as the only light, with the FG bounce to simulate GI.

No exposure control

The reflective blush of color on the deck is due to the bounce factor for the FG

The setup and location of the mrArea light is the big factor ... use the disc light for a very soft shadow

If you change to a rectangle spot and move back the light [away from the target] so the light rays are not so spread apart, increase the multiplier, and tighten the fallof, the shadows start to tighten up a little more like a sunny day.
