Note – you can use the usual click drag on the canvas to make the mask, or try what is called topological masking, where you click drag on the model itself ... the edge will be hard at first, but when you let go it will blur:
You will find it takes practice to make sure your action line is aligned, with end points in the most effective position, and your alpha is correctly smoothed with adequate coverage and placement, for the transpose to go as anticipated. You also have to experiment with move and rotate.
