3D Model rotation in Shockwave 3D

Get your pivot point right in max first ... center of object.

Shift F to see your frame edges.

Export to shockwave 3D. You only need 1 frame.

Import to Director. Drag to the stage.

Behaviors Library: Automatic Model rotation is what you want to apply. Drag and drop onto your model on the stage.

Pick the axis you want to rotate on. Z is what I want to use here ... not the same as Z up in Max.

Your model should now rotate. this rotation will only occur when the movie is played, not scrubbed.

If you can into a mess with the angle rotation, re-drag the cast member to the stage and re-apply the behavior.

Maybe a cooler thing is rotation by the mouse. Make up a name for the behavior group.

You also need a trigger. Use Mouse Left.

I chose to rotate on X ... experiment ... you can also rotate on 2 axes.
