Biped Walk Cycle Tips

Try your walk cycle at 15 fps. The idea is, a walk cycle is 1 second. A 30 fps cycle would be 30 frames.

Frame 0

This is a regular standing pose, da vinci, whatever. this saves of protects that pose, plus the count is even when the first step is on frame one.

Frame 1

this is your extended or planted pose, the “A” position

Frame 8

Flip position of arms and legs at frame 1

Frame 15

This is a copy of frame 1

The rest is up to you, adjusting the weight, the theory being, walking is a controlled fall. Its a nice way to start out.
