Open the mixer

Name a channel

Click on dark gray color box and set a color

Don’t forget to hit Enter ...

Click on input 1:

Select an effect

You can add multiple filters, they each have their own controls

Make sure Channel 1 is selected ... roll up or down ...

Click on “piano roll”

Play by adding notes with the pencil -- right click erases

Click to open playlist

Click with pencil to add pattern 1

Roll here to make sure patter 1 is selected ... play your pattern and revise as needed:
