Select Sound Blaster Audigy for recording

Hit the volume button ...

Select microphone and turn it up ...

Click on the thing that looks like a mixer

This opens Surround Mixer. the 2 items with red plusses on the right are all we care about.

In the little pop-up with the triangle, select microphone to plug it in ...

Under record, also select microphone, to access volume
